The service

LocalLedger is provided by [TO COMPLETE: legal entity name]. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you use LocalLedger for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept them on its behalf.

Your data and your books

You own the information you capture. You're responsible for its accuracy and for the returns and statements you submit to SARS or anyone else. LocalLedger helps you prepare them; it doesn't replace professional accounting or tax advice. AI suggestions are drafts for you to review.

Accounts and access

Keep your password and API tokens secret. Organisation owners decide who has access and at which role, and are responsible for removing people who should no longer have it.

Fees

[TO COMPLETE: pricing, billing cycle, VAT, cancellation and refunds.]

Availability and liability

We work to keep LocalLedger available and your data backed up, but can't promise uninterrupted service. [TO COMPLETE: limitation of liability, consistent with the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.]

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time under Account settings. Accounting records an organisation must keep by law are retained as described in the privacy notice.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Questions: [TO COMPLETE: contact email].
